1 additional student tests positive for COVID-19, 2 students recover

DeKALB — NIU announced Wednesday that one additional student and no employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and two students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Wednesday, 52 students and six employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 388 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 330 have recovered.

As of  Wednesday at 3:10 p.m., NIU is at 11% quarantine and isolation use. This is a 1.8% increase from Tuesday.
