DeKALB — NIU announced Tuesday that nine additional students and one employee has tested positive for the coronavirus, and eight students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Tuesday, 40 students and 10 employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 564 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 514 have recovered.

As of  Tuesday at 3:00 p.m., NIU is at 5.5%  quarantine and isolation use, this is a 1.8% increase from Monday.
