DeKALB — NIU announced Thursday that one additional student and one employee has tested positive for the coronavirus, and six students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Thursday, 27 students and nine employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 591 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 555 have recovered.

As of  Thursday at 3:00 p.m., NIU is at 3.1%  quarantine and isolation use, a 0.6% decrease from Wednesday.
