Here is a delightful little concept that I would like to share. Now that I have graduated from NIU and am attending graduate school here, I have to pay NIU five dollars to send itself a final official transcript at the graduate school. That is the amount it apparently costs for the Office of Registration and Records in Altgeld 219 to send the graduate school, also located on the second floor of Altgeld Hall, my final transcript. I do not understand the division of funds. Does it take 20 cents to make a copy and $4.80 to walk down the hall, or vice versa?
