7 more students test positive for COVID-19, 4 students recover

DeKALB — NIU announced Friday that seven students and no employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and four students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Friday, 26 students and one employee are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 844 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 817 have recovered.

As of Friday at 3 p.m., NIU is at a 6.7% quarantine and isolation use, a 0.7% decrease from Thursday.
