1 additional student tests positive for COVID-19, 21 students recover

DeKALB — NIU announced Friday that one additional student and no employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and 21 students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Friday, 27 students and one employee are currently COVID-19 positive.
The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 1,008 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 980 have recovered.
As of Friday at 3 p.m., NIU is at a 4.3% quarantine and isolation use, an 1.8% decrease from Thursday.
