DeKALB – The Egyptian Theatre will be returning this fall with three BOO’ze & Spirits Tours, providing a perfect opportunity for fans of historical stories and haunted houses.

The events will be held Sept. 24, Oct. 15 and Nov. 19 at 8 p.m. and will run close to two hours in length.

The Theatre’s staff will be entertaining guests and food and drinks will be available for purchase at the Theatre’s concession stand. Attendees will begin the events in the Theatre’s lobby and the majority of the event will require long periods of standing as well as climbing stairs, according to the Theatre’s website.

The Egyptian theatre, 135 N. 2nd St., is located in a 91-year-old building that is thought to be haunted. Those who attend are required to bring their own flashlights, as the events will take place in the dark. 

Tickets for the BOO’ze & Spirits Tours are $30. Children 10 and older are invited to attend, but they must be accompanied by an adult, according to the Theatre’s website.
