DeKALB – To celebrate its grand reopening, Common Grounds, 2180 Oakland Drive Unit B, will host a block party from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday.

The block party is free and will consist of a student art showcase, organic coffee tasting, special prizes, music, food and many more.

After its soft opening at its new location July 23, the coffee shop decided to host a block party to gather coffee and art lovers to reconnect and enjoy the new space.

After moving from downtown Dekalb to expand its brand and space, the coffeehouse rebuilt its brand to shape its goals for giving back to the community. In the new space, there’s more room for people to sit, read, do fun art activities and more.

Students or residents looking to display their artwork can fill out this Google Form.
