Park District to host Daddy Daughter and Heroes Dance
DeKALB— This Valentine’s season, join the DeKalb Park District in attending their annual Daddy Daughter and Heroes Dance on Saturday, Feb. 19 from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
The dance will be held at the Hopkins Park Community Center, 1403 Sycamore Rd. in the Terrace Room.
The theme for the dance is “Luau Princess” and will include activities such as dancing, games, contests and much more. Every daughter who attends will receive a free flower from Glidden Florist and a memento to take home.
Daughters must be between the ages of 3-13 but can bring any role model or hero that is important to them, as the event is not exclusive to dads.
Eventgoers need to maintain six feet of physical distance from other pairs and wear face coverings while indoors.
The event fee is $18 per resident and $23 per non-resident. You can register for the dance here.
