The NIU men’s tennis team came home this weekend from California with a three-match winning streak which improved the squad’s record to 5-12.

NIU first took care of Indiana State University (5-4). After losing the first three doubles matches, the Huskies went on to stun their opponent and pulled off five of the six singles matches for the victory.

Two hours later the team traveled to San Diego and defeated the University of California-San Diego 5-3.

The women also enjoyed success in California and posted

victories against University of California-San Diego (7-2) and Indiana State University (6-0).

The women’s record now stands at 6-5.
