Women’s track and field

Friday, Feb. 11

GVSU Big Meet – GVSU Lacrosse/Track & Field Stadium (Allendale, Mich.)

The NIU’s track and field team continues on to its fifth event of the 2022 schedule as they head north for the GVSU Big Meet Friday. The Huskies will look to put on a display as they are two weeks out from the Mid-American Conference Indoor Championships in Kent, Ohio, on Feb. 25.

Sunday, Feb. 13

DePaul University @ 1 p.m. – Chick Evans Field House (DeKalb, Ill.)

Women’s tennis is at home after a brief road trip to the University of Notre Dame that ended in a 5-2 loss Sunday. NIU begins a five-game home stretch against Marquette University at 1 p.m. Friday before hosting the St. Francis Fighting Saints and the DePaul Blue Devils for the remainder of the weekend.

at Illinois State University @ 7 p.m. – Redbird Arena (Normal, Ill.) | TV: ESPN+

Sunday, Feb. 13

Illinois State University @ 1 p.m. – Convocation Center (DeKalb, Ill.) | TV: ESPN3

NIU gymnastics will attempt to build upon its success at the Feb. 4 NIU Quad Meet with victories in a pair of matchups with in-state rival, the Illinois State Redbirds. The Huskies head south to Normal for the first meet before returning home to close out the weekend.

Wrestling

Saturday, Feb. 5

at Northwestern University @ 12 p.m. CT – Trienens Performance Center (Evanston, Ill.)

The Huskies travel to Evanston for their final road matchup of the 2022 regular season against the Northwestern Wildcats. While there, NIU will seek to snap a two-game losing streak and keep away from double-digit losses on the season.

Women’s basketball

Saturday, Feb. 12

University at Buffalo @ 1 p.m. – Convocation Center (DeKalb, Ill.) | TV: ESPN3

The Huskies look to avenge their Jan. 29 loss on the road to the Buffalo Bulls Saturday in an afternoon Mid-American Conference clash at the Convocation Center. 

Men’s basketball

Saturday, Feb. 12

University of Toledo @ 3:30 p.m. – Convocation Center (DeKalb, Ill.) | TV: ESPN3

Men’s basketball takes the second slot in a doubleheader at the Convocation Center as they host Toledo Rockets for their second head-to-head of the season. The first matchup on Jan. 8, which served as NIU’s conference opener, saw Toledo come away with a 94-63 victory at their home court.

Indiana University @ 3:30 p.m. CT – FAU Softball Stadium (Boca Raton, Fla.)

at Florida Atlantic University @ 6 p.m. CT – FAU Softball Stadium (Boca Raton, Fla.)

Sunday, Feb. 13

Indiana University @ 8:30 a.m. CT – FAU Softball Stadium (Boca Raton, Fla.)

After opening their 2022 slate against Ohio State University and Bethune-Cookman University Friday, NIU softball will continue play at the FAU First Pitch Classic Saturday and Sunday on the road in the Sunshine State.

Men’s tennis

Sunday, Feb. 13

at University of Dayton @ 1 p.m. – South Regency Tennis Center (Miamisburg, Ohio)

Men’s tennis will continue play in Ohio in a road matchup against the Dayton Flyers Sunday. NIU will look to return home from its bout against Xavier University on Friday and Dayton with the perfect record it left with.
