DeKALB— This week, Tails Humane Society has put senior cat Maeve in the spotlight. 

At almost 12 years old, Maeve is a very sweet but shy kitty. She’s previously lived with other cats and gets along with her feline friends at Tails as well. 

Her previous owner passed away and she’s now looking for a new home to spend her golden years. 

Maeve’s ideal home would be a quiet one with a lap to sit on, someone to scratch behind her ears and lots of love.

Those interested in adopting should visit Tails Humane Society, 2250 Barber Greene Road. Tails will be open from noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and noon to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
