This week, Tails Humane Society has chosen a four-year-old dog named Hayti as its Pet of the Week. 

Hayti is a “fun, friendly” medium-sized dog weighing 43 lbs. She tries very hard to be sweet and loving, making for a perfect companion. 

Hayti prefers peace and quiet, enjoys the more tranquil parts of the shelter and has a bit of a snoring problem. But she loves people and is happy to exist in a family environment. 

Those interested in adopting should visit Tails Humane Society, 2250 Barber Greene Road. Tails will be open from noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday and from noon to 5:30 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
