“On the road again” seems to be the general theme for NIU athletic teams this weekend.

Things start out tonight at 7 p.m. when the NIU gymnastics team competes in the eight-team State of Illinois Classic at Champaign.

Then, on Saturday, the 3-4 Huskies’ baseball team hooks up with the University of Illinois in an 1 p.m. doubleheader on the Fighting Illini campus.

On Sunday, the NIU softball team looks to up its 7-14 record against the Indiana State Sycamores at Terre Haute, Ind.
