DeKALB– In the last week, Illinois average gas prices have risen 0.9 cents, averaging $4.35 per gallon today, according to GasBuddy’s survey of 4,378 stations in Illinois. 

Illinois prices are down 18.2 cents per gallon from one month ago and are $1.34 per gallon more expensive than one year ago. 

Gasbuddy reports that the cheapest station in Illinois stands at $3.74/g while the most expensive was $5.29 per gallon with a difference of $1.55 per gallon. 

The national average price of gasoline has fallen 3.8 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $4.06 per gallon today. 

The national average is down 21.1 cents per gallon from a month ago, but is $1.21 per gallon higher than a year ago, according to GasBuddy data from more than 11M weekly reports covering over 150,000 gas stations throughout the country.
