I couldn’t agree more with Tracy Deis Doris’s letter about her culture being ignored. I have the same feelings about my heritage culture. I am 100 percent Scottish. Does anyone know how far a Scotsman must travel to find a good bagpipe concert? Where can I go locally to drink with my Scottish brothers while wearing our traditional kilts? How far must I drive to see some good-looking sheep? I can’t even find “Hot Snotty Scots” (our version of “Playboy”) at any DeKalb newsstands. Yes Tracy, my culture too is being ignored, but I think I’ll survive.
