DeKALB – Police responded to a stabbing on the 1100 block of West Lincoln Highway Monday afternoon. 

Two people were injured and transported to Kishwaukee Hospital, according to DeKalb Police. The first left the scene at 3:58 p.m. and the second at 4:14 p.m. Monday. The incident occurred at The Terraces apartment building, formerly known as Lincoln Tower.

“The suspect is not at large. The suspect is identified and they (police) are speaking with the subject at this time,” said Sean Woyna, DeKalb Police Department communications coordinator.

The southbound lanes of Annie Glidden Road, south of Lincoln Highway, were closed near the intersection.
