Tuesday

At 2:57 p.m., Lovett’s Towing called to report a suspended driver was leaving the tow yard in her vehicle, a red mini van. Following an investigation, Tamie L. Hansen, 29, was charged with driving with a suspended license, no insurance, suspended registration and no seat belt. Hansen was released on bond.

The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

At 12:58 a.m., following a traffic stop at 800 N. Annie Glidden Road, Chelcie A. Cannon, 20, was charged with driving with a suspended license, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, operating a vehicle with suspended registration and failure to appear—assault.

At 9:38 p.m., officers responded to University Village, 630 N. Annie Glidden Road, in reference to disorderly conduct. Dispatch advised a female subject was calling for her boyfriend, who was cut during an altercation. Following an investigation, Jarrell T. Haynes, 28, was charged with obstructing justice and criminal trespass. Angela M. Paige, 26, was charged with obstructing justice, aggravated domestic battery and two counts of domestic battery.

At 11:18 p.m., officers responded to 1093 Regent Drive in reference to a report of disorderly conduct. Following an investigation, Taylor J. Glasgow, 21, was charged with criminal damage to property.

At 12:02 p.m., following a traffic stop at 400 Pine St., Sarina Glover, 24, was charged with driving with a suspended license, no insurance and display of false insurance card. Glover was transported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.

Thursday

At 11:06 p.m. on April 12, an officer was dispatched to Lot V in regard to a report of criminal damage. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. On Thursday, this case was administratively closed due to a lack of leads.

At 3:18 on April 12, an officer was dispatched to the NIU Police Department in regard to a report of deceptive practices. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. While speaking with the complainant, the officer determined the incident was being falsely reported. On Thursday, Januar C. Molsby, 19, was arrested on a warrant allowing use of credit card by another. Molsby was processed at the NIU Police Department and then released on $500 bond.

At 2:33 a.m. on April 13, officers responded to Lot O in regard to a report of a fight in progress. The officers met with the two individuals, one of whom was under 21 and intoxicated.

At 3:54 a.m., an officer on patrol of New Hall West made contact with an individual in regard to a report of battery. Michael A. Davis, 18, was arrested for battery and processed at the NIU Police Department. Davis was released on $150 bond.

At 3:05 p.m., an officer was dispatched to Graham Hall in regard to a report of disorderly conduct. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. When the officer made contact with the individuals involved in the incident, one provided false information to the officer. Two individuals were referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for disorderly conduct. One individual was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for obstructing a peace officer.

At 8:31 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the NIU Police Department in regard to a report of domestic battery. The officer met with the complainant and took a report. After speaking with the complainant, the officer determined the incident was an assault rather than domestic battery. This case is open pending further investigation.

At 11:13 p.m., an officer was dispatched to Douglas Hall in regard to a report of cannabis. The officer arrived on scene and made contact with individuals in the room in question. Three individuals were referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, possession of cannabis, and possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Friday

At 12:43 a.m., an officer on patrol of New Hall West made contact with an individual who was under 21 and intoxicated. The individual was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.

At 12:52 a.m., an officer on patrol of New Hall West made contact with an individual in regard to a report of disorderly conduct. Erik S. McDowell, 18, was arrested for disorderly conduct. McDowell was processed at the NIU Police Department and then released on $120 bond.

At 11:40 p.m., officers on patrol of Lot O made contact with an individual who was under 21 and intoxicated. The individual was referred to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor.
