Editor’s note: This article will be updated daily from April 7 to April 11 to include the latest treasure hunt clues.
The annual Northern Star Treasure Hunt will begin on April 7.
Hidden somewhere around campus will be a Northern Star paperweight. Go out and search, the paperweight could be located anywhere on NIU’s campus. If you find it, bring the paperweight to the Northern Star’s office, located in the Peters Campus Life Building, Room 175, to collect prizes.
The Northern Star will release one clue per day from Monday, April 7 to Friday, April 11 to help participants find the acrylic paperweight.
The paperweight will be outside on NIU’s campus. Participants will not need to climb, go into water or dig anything up. The labeled weight will not be on private property.

CLUE FIVE
If these clues are too hard, you might need a rest. Enjoy the art of the game, Huskies. Even if you’re on the bench, you can still be the best.
