McCall named MAC Golfer of the Week

For the first time in his career, sophomore Conner McCall has been named the Mid-American Conference Golfer of the Week after finishing in sixth place at the Lake Las Vegas Invitational on Wednesday.

McCall finished the invitational with a career-best score of 209 over 54 holes, good for 7-under par. McCall also had a career-best single round in the third, finishing with a score of 67, 5-under par.

This is the third MAC honor for men’s golf this season, following Craig Long on Sept. 26 and Devin Swoyer on Oct. 17.

NIU men’s golf returns to action on March 13 at the Schenkel Invitational in Statesboro, Georgia. Live stats will be updated on Scoreboard.
