NIU Police released a video Thursday promoting their ALICE training program.

ALICE stands for alert, lockdown, inform, counter and evacuate, according to the NIU Police website. During ALICE training, participants are taught how to react to violent attackers. The training includes lectures on the security of the participants’ current space and the benefits of the ALICE strategy.
