Students came out to the SA’s voter registration drive Wednesday at the Holmes Student Center. We asked them why voting is important.

“It’s extremely important to have your voice heard and find a political candidate who represents you,” said sophomore geography major Emma Falk.
“I didn’t think it was important before, but I think now we have a lot of candidates that have a lot of extremist opinions one way or another, and it’s more so a lot of people are voting against certain opinions that they don’t agree with,” said Ethan Smith, junior physical therapy major.
“In recent elections we’re really seeing our age group, especially college students, really change the tone of the election in I think a powerful level because there’s so many of us, and we’re really changing the results of the election and the impact we had on it,” said Kiran Gill, senior political science major.
