The Monster Truck Nationals will return to NIU at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 6 in the Convocation Center.

Five of the world’s best monster trucks will be at the event, including Bigfoot, the original monster truck, according to the Convocation Center’s website. Each truck weighs 10,000 pounds. There will also be a new truck called the Tranasauraus, a 35,000 pound truck.

Advance tickets are $17, day of show tickets are $20 and gold circle tickets are $35. Tickets can be purchased at the convocation box office, Ticketmaster.com or 815-745-3000.

Each attendant is also invited to a free pit party two hours before each performance where Monster Truck Nationals drivers will give autographs and pose for photos. There will also be games and displays at the pit party.

Doors open at 4:30 p.m. for the event.
