DeKalb to see light snowfall
December 1, 2015
DeKalb can expect light snowfall Tuesday evening from a winter storm out of North Dakota.
Snowfall will arrive along with a drop in temperature to 29 degrees and may continue until noon Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service. Accumulation could be about half an inch, according to the National Weather Service, but will melt due to the temperature rising above freezing Wednesday, said NIU meteorologist Gilbert Sebenste.
“Basically it will just be a few snow showers and grass might turn white for a bit,” Sebenste said.
High temperatures will return to the near 50s this weekend.
