The Voice of Change ticket has won the 2015 Student Association executive election after its disqualification was lifted Tuesday at an SA Supreme Court hearing.

Nathan Lupstein’s Voice of Change ticket won every SA executive position. Lupstein gained 1,682 votes while presidential candidate Ben Donovan gained 633 votes.

“We’re really happy about the results of the election and we’re excited to start working with the students,” Lupstein said.

Donovan said he was disappointed about the Supreme Court’s decision and he will not seek reappointment as director of Governmental Affairs for the fall.

The Standing for Every Student ticket “campaigned pretty hard,” Donovan said. “I felt that my ticket and I had concrete things to do, but the voting population is the voting population and they can do what they please.”
