NIU will hold an independent TED talk April 25.

The TEDxNIU talk will focus on “the hidden superheroes among us” and will feature presentations from Iris Sidikman, junior music performance major; 9/11 first responder Tim Brown and NIU faculty member Loren Hecht, among others.

Tickets are $15 for students or $17 for non-students, with lunch included. TEDxNIU will be held 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in Altgeld Hall, Room 116.
