College of Education will show the film “How to Survive a Plague” at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Cole Hall auditorium.

“How to Survive a Plague” is a documentary about activists who in the early years of the AIDS epidemic fought for a more balanced public understanding of the disease, according to the College of Education’s website. A discussion about social justice featuring NIU faculty will be held after the film.

This event is part of the College of Education’s Social Justice Film Series. Paul Baker, director of college relations at the College of Education, said the Social Justice Film Series explores topics including inner-city violence, HIV/AIDS, immigration and bullying.
