Smoke-Free Campus Task Force asks for input at ‘community conversations’

By Northern Star staff

NIU is holding a series of “community conversations” so community members can give feedback on a proposed smoke-free campus policy.

The Smoke-Free Campus Task Force has proposed a series of changes — including banning any smoking on campus, even when inside a privately owned vehicle — to make NIU compliant with the state’s Smoke-Free Campus Act. The conversations will give community members a chance to give feedback on the proposed policy.
