Police Report: Oct. 22-26

Correction – The Northern Star reported that at 9 a.m. Oct. 24, two counts of domestic battery were reported to have occurred at the NIU Employees Federal Credit Union, 817 W. Lincoln Highway. A representative from the NIU Police Department confirmed the two counts of domestic battery occurred in the parking lot of the Employees Federal Credit Union, not inside the building.

Wednesday

1. At 8 p.m. Sept. 11, criminal damage to property was reported to have occurred at Grant North. This case was suspended Wednesday.

2. At 10 a.m. Oct. 21, aggravated cruelty was reported to have occurred at 6 Northern View Circle. This case was opened Wednesday.

3. On Oct. 16, criminal damage to property was reported to have occurred at Lot 30. This case was suspended Wednesday.

4. At 9 p.m., possession of drug equipment was reported to have occurred at New Residence Hall East. This case was closed by exception.

5. At 11:10 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported to have occurred at West Ridge Apartments, 919 Ridge Drive. This case was referred to another agency.

Thursday

6. At 2:46 a.m., Rashad Robinson, 19, of Chicago, was charged with criminal trespass to real property and resisting, obstructing or disarming an officer reported to have occurred at 831 Crane Drive.

7. At 5 p.m. Wednesday, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at Stevenson South. This case was suspended Thursday.

8. At 10 p.m., theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at Grant North. This case is open.

9. At 11:30 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported to have occurred at Neptune West. This case was closed by exception.

10. At 8:30 p.m., theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at Grant North. This case is open.

11. At 7:45 a.m. Oct. 20, burglary from a motor vehicle and criminal damage to property were reported to have occurred at Lot S. This case was suspended Friday.

13. At 8:30 p.m. Thursday, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at Grant North. This case was opened Friday.

14. At 3:10 a.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under and possession of drug equipment were reported to have occurred at Lot W. This case was closed by exception.

15. At 9 a.m., two counts of domestic battery were reported to have occurred at the NIU Employees Federal Credit Union, 817 W. Lincoln Highway. This case was referred to another agency.

16. At 10:48 a.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under and possession of drug equipment were reported to have occurred at 1100 W. Hillcrest Drive. This case was closed by exception.

17. At 9:40 p.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under was reported to have occurred at Lorusso Lagoon. This case was closed by exception.

18. At 10 p.m. Oct. 20, theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at Neptune Central. This case was suspended Saturday.

19. At 1 p.m., domestic battery was reported to have occurred at 1107 Lincoln Highway. This case was referred to another agency.

20. At 4:57 p.m., theft $500 and under was reported to have occurred at New Residence Hall Community Center. This case is open.

21. At 7 p.m. Oct. 15, theft over $500 was reported to have occurred at the Chick Evans Field House. This case was suspended Sunday.

22. At 12:30 a.m., possession of cannabis 30 grams and under was reported to have occurred at Stevenson North. This case was closed by exception.

23. At 2:15 a.m., battery was reported to have occurred at Varsity Plaza, 850 Pappas Drive. This case was suspended.

24. At 10:17 a.m. Friday, criminal defacement of property was reported to have occurred at Zulauf Hall. This case was suspended Sunday.
