(Left to right) Junior education major Paulina Okrasa and senior environmental studies majors Ben Stone and Erica Bary pick Swiss Chard Sunday at the NIU Communiversity Garden. Sunday was a work day at the garden and volunteers showed up to help weed, water and harvest vegetables. The garden is worked by volunteers and funded with donations, and the vegetables grown there are donated to local food pantries. For more information, go to on.fb.me/1oJacad.
