Construction is underway for the Texas Roadhouse at 1950 DeKalb Ave.

Texas Roadhouse announced its plans to open a location in Sycamore in July. The restaurant is expected to open this summer.

The building, which formerly housed Johnny’s Charhouse, will undergo renovations.

The Texas Roadhouse chain offers hand-cut steaks, ribs, made-from-scratch sides and baked bread.
