Campus Police Reports: July 22-28

July 22

• At 5:33 p.m., a person reported theft. The investigation is ongoing.

July 23

• At 10:47 p.m. July 22, an officer responded to a report of damage to government property at the Stevens Building. The case was closed July 23 for a lack leads.

July 24

• At 1:33 p.m., an officer responded to a report of theft at Gilbert Hall. The case was closed for lack of leads.

July 25

• At 8:01 p.m., officers responded to a report of theft at the Recreation Center. The property was recovered later that day.

• At 11:17 p.m., an officer on duty took a complaint in regard to damage to property. The case was closed at the request of the person who filed the report.

• At 11:33 p.m., Ebony M. Waters, 22, of Bourbonnais, was

arrested on a warrant for failure to appear in court. Waters was later released on $375 bond.

July 27

• At 1:55 a.m., Derrick L. Givens, 23, of Aurora, was arrested for battery after being in a fight at 830 Greenbrier Road. Givens was later released on bond.

July 28

• At 1:50 p.m., an officer responded to a report of theft at Founders Memorial Library. The investigation is ongoing.
