Campus Police Reports: July 7-July 12

July 7

• At 3:35 p.m., officers responded to a report of a suspicious person at the Holmes Student Center. The person had stolen property. An investigation is pending.

• At 6:48 p.m., Jennifer L. Dazzo, 37, of DeKalb, turned herself in on a warrant.

July 8

• At 11:55 a.m. on April 29, a person filed a report of credit card fraud. On July 8, the case was closed.

• At 7:59 p.m. on June 7, officers responded to a report of property damage at Evans Field House. On July 8, the case was closed for a lack of leads.

• At 4:12 p.m., an officer responded to a report of theft at Founders Memorial Library. An investigation is pending.

• At 10:40 p.m., Edward J. Steinback-O’Connor, 21, of Wheaton, was arrested for possession of pot and drug-related items. He was later released on $150 bond.

Wednesday

• At 9:37 p.m., Thomas P. Johnson, 19, of DeKalb, was arrested at the corner of Gilbert Drive and

Lucinda Avenue for consumption of alcohol. Johnson was released on $150 bond.

Thursday

 • At 8:55 a.m., an officer responded to a report of trespassing at Wirtz Hall. The trespasser was given a verbal warning.

Friday

• At 9:21 p.m., Alexis D. Jefferson, 21, of DeKalb, was stopped for a traffic violation. After being stopped, Jefferson was arrested for a warrant for failure to appear in court.
