Campus Police Reports: June 22-June 30

June 22

• At 11:51, officers on duty arrested Honorio Hernandez-Garcia for a warrant for failure to appear in court for a traffic violation. Hernandez-Garcia was later released on a $575 bail.

June 23

• At 9:06 a.m., Debra L. Holmbo, 52, of Machesney Park, was stopped for running a red light and then arrested for driving without a valid driver’s license. She was later released on bond.

•At 3:25 p.m., officers responded to a call for medical assistance. On the scene, officers made contact with Roger D. Keil, 57, of Rockford, who was wanted on a warrant for fraud. Keil was arrested.

• At 11 p.m., Steven Hudson, 29, of DeKalb, was arrested when an officer pulled him over for a routine traffic stop on the 900 block of North Annie Glidden Road. Hudson was arrested for possession of pot.

June 24

• At 11:53 p.m., an officer pulled over a vehicle on the 800 block of West Hillcrest Drive. A person was given a verbal warning for possession of pot. Dezmond Q. Hayes, 18, of DeKalb, was arrested for having a warrant for failure to appear in court.

June 25

• At 9:56 p.m., an officer stopped a vehicle at the intersection of Miller Avenue and Park Avenue Christophe W. Iteen, 18, of Shelbyville, Tenn., was arrested for possession of pot and drug paraphernalia. Iteen was released on a $150 bond.

June 27

• At 9:51 a.m., officers at the NIU Police Department recorded a report of theft. An investigation is pending.

• At 2:37 p.m., officers at the NIU Police Department recorded a report of theft. An investigation is pending.

• At 10:50 p.m., officers referred a person to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for damage and arson.

June 28

• At 7:51 a.m. on March 28, an officer responded to a report of damage to property at Lowden Hall. The case was closed on Friday.

• At 12:38 a.m. on June 1, an officer responded to a report of defacement of property. The case was closed Friday due to a lack of leads.

June 29

• At 4:31 a.m., an officer stopped a car at the 1000 block of North Annie Glidden Road. The officer found a gun in the car. Jonathan P. Howard, 25, of Maywood, was arrested for aggravated use of a gun.

• At 2:44 p.m., Terrick W. Chester, 19, of DeKalb, was arrested on the 800 block of Edgebrook Drive for having a warrant. Chester was released on a $150 bond.

June 30

•At 12:45 a.m., at the corner of Lincoln Drive North and North Annie Glidden Road, an officer referred a person to the Office of Community Standards and Student Conduct for possession of pot and alcohol by a minor.
