Friday

At 3:26 a.m., a DeKalb police officer on patrol observed a suspicious vehicle in the 1600 block of Mayflower Drive. The officer initiated a traffic stop and learned the driver, Wesley J. Schultz, 23, of DeKalb, was in possession of 10 to 30 grams of cannabis. Schultz was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Schultz was arrested, taken to the DeKalb Police Department, booked and later released on bond.
