• At 3:08 a.m., DeKalb Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Crane Drive for a domestic battery call. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the victim who stated her boyfriend, Jordan C. Hopkins, 19, of DeKalb, slapped her three times in the face after breaking her cellular phone. Police found Hopkins had four active warrants and located him at a residence nearby. Hopkins was served a ban notice from the property and arrested. He was taken to the DeKalb Police Station and later transported to DeKalb County Jail.
