City blotter for 10/25/11

The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Sunday
- At 5:19 a.m., DeKalb Police responded to the 300 block of E. Deerpath Road for a loud stereo report. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the resident, Chelsea L. Jolly, 21, of DeKalb, and found she was wanted on a failure to appear warrant. Jolly was arrested and taken to the DeKalb Police Station. She was later released on bond.
- At 3:43 p.m. DeKalb Police received a report of a male who stumbled to his vehicle from Andy’s bar. Police located the vehicle at a residence in the 700 block of N. Fourteenth Street. The vehicle was found running in the driveway, still in reverse. The driver, Richard A. White, 53, of DeKalb, was found passed out inside the vehicle. White was arrested and charged with two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. White was taken to the DeKalb Police Station and later released on bond.
- At 5:51 p.m., DeKalb Police investigating an incident at an address in the 1700 block of Clark Street learned that an individual, Paul R. Soky, 24, of DeKalb, was wanted on an active failure to appear warrant for possession of cannabis. Soky was arrested and taken to the DeKalb Police Station. He was later transported to DeKalb County Jail.
