SATURDAY

• At 12:50 a.m., the DeKalb County Sheriff’s office responded to the 400 block of E. Royal Drive for a warrant arrest. The individual, Daniel C. Huber, 26, of DeKalb, was arrested on a failure to appear warrant for driving under the influence. He was taken to DeKalb County Jail for booking.

SUNDAY

• At 1:50 a.m., a DeKalb Police officer heard a vehicle squealing its tires in the 700 block of Oak Street. The officer observed a vehicle with smoke coming from its tires travelling at a high rate of speed. The officer performed a traffic stop and found the driver, Alex J. Robinson, 20, of DeKalb, was driving with a suspended license. Robinson was arrested and taken to the DeKalb Police Station. He was later released on bond.
