At the 3000 block of N. First St., Erica Garcia was arrested for a DUI after the officer noticed a strong smell of alcohol coming from Garcia and she failed to successfully complete a field sobriety test.

A vehicle was stopped after almost striking the curb on the 300 block of S. Third St. The driver, Patrick Boyce, was arrested after refusing to give the officer a breath sample. Upon searching Boyce’s car the officer found cannabis. An investigation was started.

On the 1000 block of Arcadia Drive officers responded to a report of a stab victim. Upon arriving at the scene police found that there were two stab victims and the incident had occurred at 09 High Terrace. The victims were taken to Kishwaukee Community Hospital and an investigation was started.

Monday

At 11:05 p.m. a vehicle with one headlight was stopped at the 1300 block of Sycamore Road. The driver, Michael Brugins, was arrested for driving on a suspended license and illegal possession of cannabis. Burgins was released with a court date after posting the necessary bond.

At 10:41 p.m. at 711 Russell Road, two individuals were arrested for criminal trespass, obstructing identification, resisting a peace officer and possession of cannabis. An investigation was started.

Tuesday

A victim was bitten by a suspect at a residential location on N. Sixth St. The suspect, Beezle Thomas, was arrested with two counts of domestic battery. An investigation was started.

On the 400 block of N. Peace Road a man using the alias Andrew Crawford was pulled over for speeding. The officer confirmed the suspect was Eric Mitchell and he was driving on a suspended license. Mitchell was arrested and transported to the DeKalb County Jail.

At 820 Kimberly Drive two suspects were involved in a dispute over their rent. Police were called after the incident turned physical. An investigation was started.
