DeKalb crime blotter for April 18

The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from the DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

  • At 1:52 p.m. Saturday, DeKalb Police performed a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 100 block of North First Street. Police found one of the occupants to be wanted on a warrant. Nathan H. Myers, 27, of DeKalb, was taken to the DeKalb Police Station and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. He was taken to DeKalb County Jail pending bond.
  • At 10:42 p.m. Saturday, DeKalb Police performed a traffic stop in the 1900 block of Pleasant Street. Police learned that the occupant was in possession of cannabis. Timothy C. Watson, 21, of Maple Park was taken to the DeKalb Police Station and later released on bond.
