• At 8:27 p.m. Sunday, DeKalb Police in the 900 block of Crane Drive performed a traffic stop on a vehicle with no headlights. Police learned the driver, Shamere Samuel, 19, of Chicago, was driving on a suspended license. Samuel was taken to the police station and later released on bond.
