DeKalb crime blotter March 28

The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

At 12:23 a.m. Sunday, DeKalb Police in the 1000 block of West Lincoln Highway came in contact with a subject wanted on a warrant. Police confirmed, Jacqueline V. F. Anderson, 23, of DeKalb, had a failure to appear warrant for forgery. Anderson was taken to the police station and later transported to the DeKalb County Jail.

At 7:50 a.m. Thursday, DeKalb Police in the 300 block of North Annie Glidden Road observed a vehicle perform an improper left turn. Police performed a traffic stop and learned the driver, Marques G. Adams, 26, of Chicago, was driving with a suspended license and had failed to wear a seat belt. Adams was taken to the police station and later released on bond.
