• At 11:05 p.m. on Tuesday, DeKalb Police in the 1000 block of West Lincoln Highway responded to a report of battery. Police located suspect Adam B. Giersch, 30, of DeKalb and charged him with two counts of battery. Giersch was taken to the police station and later released on bond.

• At 10:43 a.m. on Tuesday, DeKalb Police performed a traffic stop in the 900 block of Crane Drive. Police learned the driver, April D. Jones, 22, of DeKalb, was driving with a suspended license, had improperly displayed plates, no insurance, and failed to wear a seat belt. Jones was also charged for resisting arrest. She was taken to the police station and later released on bond.
