DeKalb crime blotter for Feb. 22

The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.

At 6:56 p.m. Sunday, DeKalb Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Crane Drive to reference a suspect on a violation. Police found suspect, Cristofer D. Lemon, 22, of DeKalb, and confirmed he had two counts of violation of order of protection. Lemon initially provided false identification. Lemon was arrested and taken to the police station. He was later taken to the DeKalb County Jail.

At 5:56 a.m. Sunday, DeKalb Police observed a vehicle in the 100 block of North First Street pass through a red light. Police performed a traffic stop and learned the driver, Mariano Hernandez, 21, of DeKalb, was driving with a suspended license. Hernandez was arrested and taken to the police station. He was later released on bond.

At 2:38 a.m. Sunday, DeKalb Police in the 1000 block of Lincoln Highway checked the plates of a vehicle. Police performed a traffic stop and learned the driver, Sarah A. Keating, 28, of DeKalb, was driving an uninsured vehicle and with a suspended license. Keating was arrested and taken to the police station. She was later released on bond with a court date.
