I wish I had a dime for every time I saw a negative political ad on television. I can’t believe the negativity coming from each commercial, Democrat or Republican.

It would be really nice if candidates could just have ads that say, “While my opponent is aware of the issues, and is an all around good person, I believe my record and my vision for the future would be better for the area.” The worst is when they become personal attacks.

This goes from local politics all the way up to national races.

If I could see the day where politicians and their supporters stop running negative ads against each other, a policy, or a party, that would be the day. I also think I just saw a pig fly by as well.

I hope everyone goes out and votes on Nov. 2 (or earlier).

I don’t think students realize how great we have it here in the U.S.A. We have freedoms that countries (especially in the Middle East) dream about!
