DeKalb city blotter for Sept. 7

The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from the DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proved guilty in a court of law.
At 6:32 p.m. Sept. 3, DeKalb Police were dispatched to the 1100 block of Gifford Street for a solicitor complaint. Police arrested Torey M. Jones, 18, of Chicago, for soliciting without a license. He was taken to the police department and released on bond.
At 5:32 p.m. Sept. 4, DeKalb Police received a tip that two people walking northbound in the 700 block of Sycamore Road were in violation of an order of protection. Police located the individuals and arrested Justin R. Dugosh, 21, of Sycamore, for violation of an order of protection and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the police department and transported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office to be held on bond.
At 2:36 p.m. Sept. 4, DeKalb Police located a stolen vehicle at a residence in the 1000 block of Pleasant Street. Police arrested Robert K. Steelman, 42, of DeKalb, for unlawful possession of converted motor-vehicle. He was taken to the police department and transported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
At 3:45 p.m. Sept. 5, DeKalb Police stopped a vehicle in the 100 block of West Lincoln Highway after noticing it traveling above the posted speed limit. Police arrested the driver, Hunberto Montano, 51, of Rochelle, for speeding and no valid driver’s license. He was taken to the police department and released on bond.
At 1:39 a.m. Sept. 5, DeKalb Police were dispatched to the 800 block of West Lincoln Highway for a report of disorderly conduct. Police located both individuals, Gary C. Miller Jr., 23, and Daniel J. Prindle, 22, both of Bolingbrook. Miller and Prindle were both arrested for disorderly conduct. They were taken to the police department and released on bond.
At 1:10 a.m. Monday, DeKalb Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Fotis Drive in reference to a criminal damage/trespass to property complaint. Police arrested Jasmine E. McClain, 20, of DeKalb, for residential burglary and criminal damage to property. She was taken to the police department and then transported to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office.
