For fans of writer/director/actor Tyler Perry, this Friday will mark the release of Perry’s next big film, “Tyler Perry’s The Family That Preys.”

Settling into the familiar family-comedy realm, Perry will deliver another big screen film full of laughs and family values.

Sure to draw a diverse audience, Perry includes a cast full of familiar big screen faces, along with a few new cast members. The film includes Cole Hauser, Sanaa Lathan, Kathy Bates, Alfre Woodard and Perry himself.

In the movie, two women decide to take a step away from their jam-packed lives to take a road trip. With the usual, crazy, work-related issues, marital problems and family fights, the two women try to escape the chaos by driving away to find out how to make their families function better and discover more about who they are as women.

The film will call out to the working class woman trying to manage finances and family.

Out of all of Perry’s movies, “Tyler Perry’s The Family That Preys” is sure to be one that reaches out to a larger working class audience and prove that Perry can discuss adult issues in a comedic way, something that hasn’t faulted him yet.
