For a fan of ska music, or for any person delving into the genre, Catch 22’s debut album, “Keasbey Nights,” provides imaginative examples of what electric guitars and brass sections can accomplish.

One of the most attractive attributes of the album is the speed each song has, but none are as fast as “Giving Up Giving In.” All the “little kids with little problems” could use an iridescent drum beat that washes over their ear drums like a tsunami. “Giving up” and “giving in” never felt so good.
