Grammy-winning Vermeet Quartet to perform final concert at NIU

DeKALB | NIU’s resident Grammy-nominated chamber group, the Vermeer Quartet, will perform their final concert in the Boutell Memorial Concert Hall and Recital Hall at 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the NIU Music Building.

The performance will include Mozart’s Quartet in B-flat major, K. 589, Janacek’s Quartet #1 (the Kreutzer Sonata) and Schumann’s Piano Quintet in E-flat major, Op. 44.

There will be an open reception in the Concert Hall lobby following the performance. The concert is free and open to the public.
