DeKALB | Larry the Cable Guy will greet the Convocation Center next Thursday with his comedy act.

Tickets will be $40.75 for the general public and $35.75 for NIU students.

“We’ve had Larry here a couple of years ago,” said Kevin Selover, director of marketing for the Convocation Center. “It was an awesome show. We had nothing but positive reviews.”

Selover anticipates Larry the Cable Guy’s second show will be just as successful since tickets are already selling well.

“The number of tickets sold already shows a big success,” Selover said. “Larry the Cable Guy is a household name so I don’t anticipate this being any less of a success as the first show.”

According to Selover, the show is drawing in people from all backgrounds, ranging from NIU students to the DeKalb community to people traveling from further away.

Tickets are still available for the May 3 show. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and show starts at 7 p.m.
